Azerbaijan’s pasta factory talks production plans for 2020

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 21

Azerbaijan’s Karmen LLC pasta factory will expand range of the products by launching a new production line, a source in the company told Trend.

According to the source, the new production line is expected to be launched in three months.

“By doing this, we plan to increase the total output of pasta products manufactured at the factory up to 80 tons per day. Since the beginning of the year, the factory has increased the production of Bucatini spaghetti up to 5-7 percent,” the source said.

“Currently, the total production volume has reached 22 tons daily. We plan to bring the figure up to 25-30 tons per day. Now were consequently working in this direction. The maximum capacity of the factory is 80 tons of products, and we expect to increase this figure up to 90 tons by the end of this year," added the source.

The products of Karmen LLC have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patents.

German equipment for pasta production, as well as Italian equipment have been installed in the factory for the production of Bucatini spaghetti in Baku.
