A total of 72,300 manufacturing enterprises operated in Iran by the end of the second month of the current Iranian year (April 20 - May 20, 2020), Trend reports citing Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran.
According to the report, 2.43 million people were employed in these enterprises.
The largest number of manufacturing enterprises is in Tehran Province (9,829 enterprises) and the lowest is in the Kish Free Trade Zone (3), the report said.
The table below shows the number of manufacturing enterprises and employees that have operated by the end of the second month in the Iranian provinces and trade zones.
