Georgian Chirchkhela company plans exports to US

BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 26

By Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

Georgian Chirchkhela company, which produces dried fruits and vegetables, plans to export its products to the US, Trend reports via Georgian media.

As Guri Salukvadze, the founder of Chirchkhela noted, the negotiations in this direction are underway.

"Currently, we are holding negotiations on the export of our products to the US. We are currently experiencing a transportation problem. Despite testing, we lack requisite vacuum technology that can withstand transportation for at least two and a half months," he said.

The company Chirchkhela plans to expand its production and diversify the assortment.

The company already presented a new product which is Sulguni (brined Georgian cheese) with different dried fruits and Tklapi (traditional Georgian puréed fruit roll-up leather).
