By Fidan Babayeva - Trend:

Azerbaijani products are planned to be exported to the Arab countries, Executive Director of the Association for Azerbaijan-Arab Cooperation Countries Yalchin Aliyev told Trend.

He noted that it is planned to export Azerbaijani products to the Syrian market.

Entering to the Syrian market will be provided through Jordan, and negotiations in this direction are ongoing, said Aliyev.

Along with this, Azerbaijani products are also planned to be brought to the markets of Egypt, Oman and Bahrain, the executive director added.

“In turn, the business environment of these countries expressed their readiness to invest in the pharmaceutical, petrochemical industry, hotel and restaurant business in Azerbaijan. Investments can be expected in a post-pandemic period, when investors can come to the country and familiarize themselves with the existing conditions on the spot,” Aliyev said.

Aliyev also highlighted the interest of the Kuwaiti investors in the tourism sector of Azerbaijan.

“As for other projects, Kuwaiti investors need to be attracted there, and we’re working towards this”, Aliyev said.
