The production of 7 large Iranian companies on the production of iron ore pellets increased by 15 percent during the first 7 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20 through October 21, 2020) compared to the same period last Iranian year, Trend reports referring to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).
According to the report, the companies produced more than 18 million tons of iron ore pellets during the reporting period. While in the same period last Iranian year, this figure amounted to about 15.7 million tons.
“So, Golgohar Mining and Industrial Company produced 7.38 million tons of iron ore pellets within first seven months of the current Iranian year, Middle East Mines Industries Development Holding Company – about 3.4 million tons, Chadormalu Mining and Industrial Company – 2.18 million tons, Opal Parsian Sangan Industrial and Mining Company – 1.92 million tons, Sangan Mining Industries Company – 1, 65 million tons, Sanabad Mine and Industrial Development Company – 706,000 tons, Sabanour Mining and Industrial Development Company – 264,000 tons,” the report said.
According to the report, the companies produced 3 percent more products than the production plan. Thus, it was envisaged in the plan for 7 months to be produced 17.5 million tons of iron ore pellets.
The seven companies transported 9.72 million tons of products to the relevant manufacturing companies in 7 months. This is an increase of 2 percent compared to the plan, “the report said.
