As many as 7 port facilities will be launched in the ports of Bushehr Province (southern Iran), as part of a 10-day event dedicated to the 41st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution in Iran, the Director General of Ports and Maritime Department of Bushehr Province, Siyavash Arjmandzadeh said, Trend reports citing the department’s website.
According to Arjmandzadeh, about 264 billion rials (about $6.27 million) were spent on these facilities.
He added that these facilities will be launched in the Bushehr port in in Bushehr Province, Mirvarid port and Deylem port on Kharg Island.
The director general noted that these facilities will be put into operation in the areas of equipping ports with firefighting systems, technological systems and other areas.
Various events are being organized in Iran for 10 days in connection with the victory of the Islamic Revolution every year. As a result of the 1979 revolution in Iran, the monarchy came to an end.
