According to the report, loans were issued on the basis of more than 97,000 projects during the reporting period. The loans were issued to more than 95,000 projects in the water and agricultural sectors, and about 2,000 projects in the processing industry.

"About 6 percent of the projects are related to nomadic livestock, and more than 9 percent to the export of agricultural and processing products," the report said.

Most of the loans were spent on water supply to agricultural areas, and the establishment of fish farms and greenhouses, the report said.

The Ministry of Agriculture Jihad of Iran notes that support for projects in the water and agricultural sectors, as well as the processing industry has been one of the main goals of the National Development Fund of Iran in recent years.
