BAKU, Azerbaijan, Sept. 9
By Fakhri Vakilov – Trend:
Uzbekistan plans to increase GDP per capita by 1.6 times in the next 5 years, Trend reports citing Kursiv.uz.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced this at the X Congress of the UzLiDeP Party, speaking about his election program. Congress is expected to approve the party's candidacy for the October presidential elections.
Mirziyoyev noted that in order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to immobilize all resources and capabilities.
Thus, by 2030 we will be able to increase per capita income by more than $4,000.
“Of course, this is not an easy task. To achieve this, we must first of all radically change labor efficiency by expanding new technologies and value chains through science and innovative development of the economy,” the President said.
