Iran Khordo Company’s passenger car manufacturing declines

The passenger car manufacturing of Iran Khodro Industrial Group decreased by 6 percent, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through December 21, 2021), compared to the same period last Iranian year, reads the report of information service (codal.ir) under the Securities and Exchange Organization of Iran, Trend reports.

According to the report, Iran Khodro manufactured a total of 325,557 passenger cars in 9 months.

Meanwhile, in the same period last Iranian year, the figure stood at 346,486.

Within 9 months, the Iran Khodro manufactured 214,681 units Peugeot, 35,706 units Samand, 37,708 units Dena, 25,274 units Runna, 4,271 units Haima, 5,802 units Tara, 103 units Peugeot 2008 and 12 units Arisun cars.

In addition, Iran Khodro Automaker Company manufactured 42,894 passenger cars in the 9th month of the current Iranian year (November 22 through December 21, 2021).

Reportedly, three giant Iranian automakers (Iran Khodro, Saipa, and Pars Khodro) manufactured 669,320 passenger cars in the first 9 months of the current Iranian year, which is an increase of 2.37 percent, compared to the same period last Iranian year.

So, these companies had manufactured about 653,761 passenger cars in the same period last Iranian year.
