Iran has suggested exporting technical and engineering services to Turkmenistan, the advisor to Energy Minister told Trend in an interview.
"It is expected that Turkmenistan would welcome Iran's suggestion. Different Iranian companies are currently providing technical and engineering services in road construction in Turkmenistan," Mohammad Ali Farahnakian noted.
"Iran wants to expand these activities, especially in the construction of thermal power plants in Turkmenistan. We suggested exporting technical services to Turkmenistan since the country is developing its thermal power plants," he indicated.
Iranian First Vice President Mohammad Mokhber held a meeting with Serdar Berdymukhamedov, the deputy prime minister of Turkmenistan announcing that a new chapter has opened in the relations between Iran and Turkmenistan.
Relations between the two countries in all dimensions, especially in the fields of oil, energy, rail, sea and land transport, export of engineering services, as well as facilitating exports and imports at border terminals will expand more than before, according to the vice president.
