BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. In general, 12,200 tons of goods worth $6.88 million were exported to Azerbaijan through Iran’s Isfahan customs in the Isfahan Province, over the last Iranian year (March 21, 2021 through March 20, 2022), according to the official statistics of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), obtained by Trend.
The main exported goods from the mentioned customs for the reporting period were various oil products, paraffin, polymer products, various acids, ethylene, iron and steel profile, copper, aluminum, anti-freezes, ceramics, marble, clothes, glassware, iron and steel ingots, cheese, butter, dry milk, etc.
In total, Iran's trade turnover with Azerbaijan for the last Iranian year amounted to about 852,000 tons worth about $608 million.
The trade turnover between the two countries increased by 93 percent in value compared to the preceding Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021).
