TEHRAN, Iran, June 2. Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) is increasing duties on tomato exports from zero to six percent, Trend reports citing ISNA.
IRICA's new announcement has raised duties on tomato export to 60,000 rials (about$1.4) per kilo. This regulation includes tomatoes produced outside the greenhouses of the country.
The Ministry of Agriculture has recently lifted the export ban on agricultural products such as tomatoes, eggplant, potatoes, and onions.
