BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 27. Iran's exports of non-oil products amounted to 44 million tons worth $20.9 billion, during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2022), Director General of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) Alireza Moghaddasi said at a press briefing on August 27, Trend reports citing IRNA.

According to Moghaddasi, Iran's non-oil exports for 5 months increased by 21 percent in value, while decreasing by 3.5 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

The director general added that the main exported goods were liquid propane, methanol, natural gas, polyethylene, iron and steel ingots.

“The mentioned goods were mainly exported to China, Iraq, the UAE, Türkiye and India,” he said.
