BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 17. Iran exported 30.3 million tons of mining products worth $7.86 billion, during the first eight months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through November 21, 2022), Trend reports via the report of the Iranian Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade.

According to the report, Iran's mining exports for 8 months decreased by 5 percent in value, while increasing by 1 percent in volume compared to the same period last Iranian year.

By the end of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2022 through March 20, 2023), the value of Iran's mining exports is estimated to exceed $12.5 billion.

Within 8 months, Iran exported steel and steel products worth $3.71 billion.

At the same time, $981 million worth of copper and related products, $781 million worth of aluminum and related products, and $405 million worth of lead were exported from the country over the mentioned period.
