The Chamber of Accounts of Azerbaijan has extended the term of the audit, which is done at regional branches of the Institute of Teachers with the purpose of forecasted and intended use of the budget money the Institute had received under the 2003-2004 educational expenditures item.
A source at the Chamber told Trend that the audit deadline had been extended by 20 days, following the revision of corresponding accounts kept by the Institute and its branches in the cities of Ganja, Sumgayit and Mingachevir, as well as regional districts of Aghjabadi, Gazakh, Guba, Jalilabad, Salyan, Shamakhy, Sheki and Zagatala. The term of audit of the accounts of Lankaran State University has been extended by a month.
“The Chamber of Accounts also extended the deadline for control measures (current revision) вЂ" applied in joint cooperation with the Ministry of Finance вЂ" as part of the audit of the Gas System Rehabilitation project, being implemented by (the state-run gas company) Azeriqaz out of the proceeds of loans under state guarantee, and the project on the construction of the Yenikand hydroelectric power station, realized by (the state-run energy producing conglomerate) Azerenerji,” the source explained.
