Talks on draft Agreement on double taxation avoidance between Azerbaijan and Serbia and Montenegro completed

The first stage of negotiations on the draft Agreement over the double taxation avoidance in regard to the property and revenues between tax bodies of Azerbaijan and Serbia and Montenegro finished. The talks held last week between the officials of the Tax Ministry with the experts of the Foreign Economic Relations Ministry of Serbia and Montenegro ended positively and all items have been agreed on, the Tax Ministry told Trend. It is explained by the similarity of the tax legislation and interests of the both countries.

During 2005 tax bodies of Azerbaijan held a lot of talks aimed at avoiding double taxation with other countries. Usually the talks on coordination of the draft agreement are held in two rounds. However, with Serbia and Montenegro the talks have been accomplished within one round.
