Azerbaijan`s Parliament looks forward oncoming of the draft On Indexation of the Deposits of the Population to SberBank of Azerbaijan SSR up to January 1, 1992. According to Ziyad Samadzadeh, Head of the Permanent Economic Policy Commission of the Milli Majlis, it is proposed that the draft will be submitted to the Parliament at the end of this month, Trend reports.
The State Commission aimed at this issue founded by the Azerbaijan Presudent has already prepared its proposals on the issue, he told.
According to the order of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev being made in October 2005, the State Commission headed by Azerbaijan Prime-Minister Artur Rasizadeh was formed to prepare the process of the indexation of the population`s deposits to the Azerbaijani branch of SberBank of USSR up to January 1, 1992.
According to the preliminary calculations of the Azerbaijan Finance Ministry, the indexation is expected to be carried out within 8 years, with $8 m. to be sent for these aims. It should be mentioned that during the inventory being held by Kapital Bank, 1. 986.000 depositors were revealed. The total sum of their deposits makes up 4.8 b Soviet Roubles. The Finance Ministry has three ways of carrying out of the indexation which need $0.3-0.4 b., $0.5-0.55 b., and $0.8-1 b. respectively.
