Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / In January, the Azerbaijani International Operating Company (AIOC), which is developing the bloc of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli off-shore fields, produced 3mln tons of Azeri Light grade oil, while in January 2007 it was only 2.7mln tons.
In January 2008, the oil production in Chirag comprised 507,300, but in January 2007 it was 612,029 tons. Some 2.5mln tons were produced in the Azeri field, while in January 2007 it was only 2mln, AIOC reported on 8 February.
