SOCAR Announces Plans to Expand Filling Stations Network Abroad

Azerbaijan, Baku, 27 October/ Trend , corr E. Ismayilov/ SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) will increase the number of the filling stations in Georgia to 60 in two years, a source in SOCAR Georgia said.

At present, SOCAR Georgia has 16 filling stations across Georgia. New filling station was opened in Ponichala province several days ago. One more filling station is expected to be opened in Vahushti province this week.

By the end of the year, company plans to put into operation seven more filling stations in Tbilisi, one in Dmansk, Kutaisi and Zestofan each.

SOCAR Georgia co-founders include SOCAR - 51%, Petro Trans FZCO - 32.7% and Ivan Chkhartishvili - 16.3%.
