Azerbaijan, Baku, July 2 /Trend/

Iran's overall oil products consumption reduced by 3.4 billion liters to 37 billion liters after cutting subsides, SHANA reported.

The average gasoline consumption reduced by 60 million liters per day within 189 days of cutting subsides.

The gasoline consumption reduced to less than 60 million liters per day from December 19 , 2010 to June 25, while the furnace fuel oil consumption reduced by 1.85 billion liters to 8.229 billion liters and gas-oil consumption reduced by 4 percent to 86.590 million liters.

The National Iranian Oil Product Distribution Company reported that white oil consumption dropped by 27 percent or 3.840 million liters to 10.450 billion liters.

By cutting subsides and increasing the energy prices, it aims to save energy and promote possible gasoline exports in the future.

The National Iranian Oil Product Distribution Company seeks to improve refineries' function and promote self-sufficiency in gasoline production and even create opportunity to export gasoline to neighboring countries.

Iran's Oil Ministry permitted export of 1 billion liters gasoline last solar year (end March 20,2011).

The NIOPDC started talks to export gasoline to neighbor countries including Afghanistan, Armenia, and Iraq.
