Libya has resumed production of natural gas on the 'Sahil' field over a year after cessation of production on that field, the Libyan National oil Company reported on its official website on Monday.
Some 50 million cubic feet of gas with a further increase in production will take place on the field in the first phase. It is noted that the 'Sahil' field is the major gas field in Libya.
Libyan company Sirte will be engaged in the production of gas from the field.
