The design capacity of this plant is designed for processing 118,000 metric tons of fuel oil and 37,200 metric tons of high quality oil bitumen will be produced from it.

The issue related to production of bitumen from Turkmen oil with high percentage of paraffin, was thoroughly studied at the research center of the company for many years, according to the newspaper.
