Uzbekistan increases gasoline production

Uzbekistan increased gasoline production up to 190,300 tons, and the growth rate from January through February 2020, compared to the same period in 2019, reached 25.5 percent, Trend reports citing Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan.

In January through February 2020, the volume of diesel fuel production amounted to 195,900 tons, which is 15.4 percent more compared to the same period in 2019.

At the same time, Uzbekistan reduced oil production by 4.2 percent in January through February period of 2020 compared to the same period in 2019 - up to 111,300 tons.

Natural gas production in January through February 2020 amounted to about 9.13 billion cubic meters, which is 9.6 percent less compared to the same period in 2019.

Uzbekistan produced more than 266,800 tons of gas condensate from January through February 2020, which is 1.6 percent more compared to the same period in 2019.

Recently was reported, that Uzbekistan plans to modernize its largest oil refineries - Bukhara, Ferghana and Altiarik - by 2022.

Starting from 2020, it is planned to establish production of high-quality diesel fuel, meeting the standards of "Euro-4" and "Euro-5".
