The US Epsilon Development Company LLC obtained an industrial inflow from Ayzavat-8 exploratory well at new Ayzavat gas condensate field of Kultak-Kamashi investment block of Uzbekistan on April 28, 2020, Trend reports citing the company.
The daily debit is one million cubic meters of gas, said the report.
The estimated reserves of the new field discovered by Epsilon reach 10 billion cubic meters of gas. The exact flow rate will be measured after connection to a new gas pipeline.
The company carried out modernization works of Uralmash 3D drilling equipment at the Aizavat-8 well (Kultak-Kamashinsky investment block) jointly with Oilfield Tools Nevada LLC (USA). The rig now boasts modern parts and automated equipment control system. Maximum drilling speed increased from 10 to 22 meters per hour, which helped to complete drilling operations 25 days ahead of schedule.
In addition, Epsilon is about to finish drilling of well No. 1 at new Shimoliy Bishkent prospective structure located in the same investment block.
All operations are conducted in full compliance with relevant sanitation, epidemiological and environmental standards. The extracted hydrocarbons are being channeled to the domestic market.
The main activities of Epsilon in Uzbekistan are prospecting, exploration, production and transportation of hydrocarbons and flare gas and oil; construction of industrial facilities; and construction of transport communications.
