The amount of revenues of Iran's Arya Sasol Polymer Company reached 89.5 trillion rials ($2.13 billion) in the last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 to March 20, 2020), Executive Director of the company Amir Hossein Bahreyni said at the Arya Sasol Polymer's annual meeting, Trend reports citing the company’s official website.
The value of company's net revenues stood at 42.1 trillion rials (about $1 billion), Bahreyni said.
Bahreyni added that the company's sales increased by 52 percent in the last Iranian year compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2018 to March 21, 2019).
The official noted that last year, the company produced 386,000 tons of heavy and medium polyethylene and 370,000 tons of light polyethylene.
He added that construction of a new plant will begin in the current Iranian year (began March 20, 2020), which will produce 300,000 tons of polyethylene per year, and this plant will be commissioned in two years in 2022.
Arya Sasol Polymer Company annual production capacity is 2 million tons of ethylene, polyethylene and other petrochemical products.
