A new gas condensate field was discovered with estimated reserves of 17.2 billion cubic meters of gas in the Kashkadarya region of Uzbekistan, Trend reports referring to Epsilon (EDC) press service.
On October 14, the commercial gas flow was obtained at the Alouddin-4 exploration well. A new field was discovered in the Kultak-Kamashinsky block in the Kashkadarya region.
The estimated reserves of the field amount to 17.2 billion cubic meters of gas and more than one million tons of gas condensate. The work on clarification of the structure and reserves of the field is underway.
After the II stage of hydraulic fracturing, scheduled for October 15, the company will inform about the daily flow rate of the well. The work is carried out in accordance with the established sanitary-epidemiological and environmental standards.
