A number of facilities will be put into operation in Iran’s water sector tomorrow Apr. 29, Trend reports citing Ministry of Energy of Iran.
According to the report, two facilities at a cost of 12.8 trillion rials (about $306 million) will be put into operation in the Hormozgan Province (southern Iran).
"In addition, the second unit of the Sari water filtration center at a cost 1.5 trillion rials (about $35.7 million) will be put into operation in the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran)," the report said.
The Balarud dam at a cost of 6.45 trillion rials (about $154 million) will be launched in the Khuzestan Province (southwestern Iran), the report said.
Moreover, the foundation of the Zaremrud dam will be laid in Iran's Mazandaran Province. The dam will cost 900 billion rials (about $21.4 million) according to the report.
