Masdar (UAE) and ACWA Power (Saudi Arabia) will commission 4 wind farms in Uzbekistan by 2024, Trend reports citing the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan.
In particular, a 100 MW wind farm will be commissioned by ACWA Power in the Karauzyak region of Karakalpakstan in 2024.
Masdar will launch a 500 MW wind farm in the Tamdyn district of the Navoi region in the fourth quarter of 2024.
In addition, by December 2023, ACWA Power will commission 2 wind farms in the Bukhara region. These include a 500 MW wind farm in the Peshkun district and a 500 MW wind farm in the Gijduvan region.
