BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 11. Paraguay and Azerbaijan will explore opportunities for cooperation in the oil and gas sector, Trend reports with reference to Petróleos Paraguayos (Petropar), Paraguay’s national oil company.
Reportedly, the president of Petróleos Paraguayos Denis Lichi, participated in the political consultations between Paraguay and Azerbaijan.
“The purpose of this important meeting was to strengthen cooperation in political, economic, commercial, cultural spheres. Representatives of Azerbaijan stated that the country is interested in cooperation with Paraguay to explore commercial opportunities, including in the oil and gas sector.
The meeting was headed by the Deputy Minister of Economic Relations and Integration of Paraguay, Raúl Cano Ricciardi, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov.
