Iran and Belarus to produce joint petrochemical production

TEHRAN, Iran, October 15. Iran and Belarus are seeking joint production and export of petrochemical products as part of the expansion of economic ties, Trend reports citing ISNA.

The Secretary General of Iran Chamber of Commerce Bahman Eshqi has reviewed plans to expand industrial and commercial ties between the two countries in a meeting with the Deputy Head of Belarus state oil company Belneftekhimas Vladimir Sizov.

A high-profile delegation from Belarus has recently arrived in Tehran to discuss increase of trade, meanwhile Iran’s private sector is pursuing cooperation with Belarusian companies.

Iran is also in talks with Belarus for supplying raw materials, equipment, and technology needed in the oil industry, senior official from National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) Borzou Ghanbari had said during the meeting.
