BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 10. Azerbaijan exported over 230,000 tons of crude oil and petroleum products to Portugal from January through September 2023, which is 1.16 percent of the total export of raw materials from Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
The data from the Azerbaijan State Customs Committee shows that this indicator decreased by 2.65 percent, or 512,000 tons, on an annual basis.
The value of exports of Azerbaijani oil and petroleum products to Portugal in the specified period amounted to $147.7 million. This is 27.01 percent, or $399.2 million less than in the same period of 2022.
In general, Azerbaijan exported 19.9 million tons of oil and petroleum products from January through September 2023, which is 1.86 percent more than in the same period last year (19.5 million tons). In value terms, oil exports exceeded $12.1 billion, which is 18.59 percent, or $2.8 billion less than in the same period of 2022.
