BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 18. Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee (SCC) has reported a 65 percent decrease in exports of oil products, Trend reports.
From January through March 2024, SCC data shows that Azerbaijan exported 105,240 tons of oil products worth $62.83 million, while in the first quarter of 2023, exports amounted to 300,330 tons worth $179.4 million.
According to the SCC, Azerbaijan exported 67,620 tons of petroleum coke worth $5.5 million from January through March, while in the first quarter of 2023, it sold 72,840 tons for $29.9 million in the world market.
The decrease in petroleum coke exports is related to a 4.7 percent decrease in its production in the specified period.
