On May 14, 2006 Azeri Light oil pumped via pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan (BTC) is reaching last intermediate station, following which it is transferred straight to port Ceyhan, BP officials told Trend.
BP officials said nearly Как 8.5mln bbl of oil have been pumped into the piprleline to date, in average 175k bbl a day. By preliminary estimations, oil is reaching port Ceyhan in 9 days.
The first tanker is supposedly loaded in late May. Official ceremony of the pipeline opening is held May 13.
