As of January 1, 2019, the total authorized capital of ten Azerbaijani leading insurance companies reached about 234.5 million manats, Trend reports.
PASHA Insurance company ranked first in terms of the volume of authorized capital. The company with the authorized capital of 50 million manats has maintained its leadership over the past few years.
As of January 1, 2019, the total capital of the company reached almost 75 million manats, which is by 17.9 percent more compared to the previous year.
Xalq Sigorta with the authorized capital of 46.19 million manats, which is 3.3 percent more than in the previous year, ranked second. The total capital of the company increased by 4.9 percent and amounted to 48.47 million manats.
PASHA Life Insurance Company with the authorized capital of 40.25 million manats ranked third. The total capital of the company amounted to 40.25 million manats, which is 7.2 percent more than in the previous year.
