BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 22

By Fidan Babayeva – Trend:

The Azerbaijani Finex Kredit Non-Bank Credit Organization (NBCO) issued loans to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the total amount of 6 million manat ($3.5 million) in 2019, Chairman of the board of the organization Rashad Gasimov told Trend.

Gasimov said that Finex Kredit issued 2,998 loans to SMEs last year.

“Since 2018, our organization began to offer its services through the electronic platform (e-platform) on its website. Using this e-platform, customers have the opportunity to send an online application in order to take advantage of financial and credit products, without visiting the organization’s office. The NBCO’s specialists immediately analyze the online application, and contacts the sender, after which the requested service is provided through the nearest branch,” he stressed.

“Recently, the number of online queries and applications has sharply increased. According to the organization’s internal statistics, in most cases, clients applied for microcredits, and each of these requests was carefully studied by the organization's employees. Appropriate decisions were made. Finex Kredit NBCO plans to further strengthen its sales network and develop alternative channels for the sale of its services,” said Gasimov.

“Since 2019, we joined Express Pay payment terminals for convenient and efficient organization of loan repayment by customers. This is convenient for the organization’s customers and ensures increase of the volume of cashless payments in the country and the use of electronic payment services,” said the chairman.

Touching upon the topic of increasing the number of plastic cards in the country, Gasimov emphasized that the organization carried out another joint project on Milli Kart and Azerpost plastic cards last year.

“Finex Кredit began to issue loans to its customers through the plastic card on the basis of a tripartite agreement with these organizations. Registration of the card to the name of the client and transfer of credit funds to the plastic card are carried out within a few minutes. Within the program, a tripartite agreement was concluded to increase the volume of cashless transactions,” the chairman noted.

“At the XII annual award ceremony organized by the Azerbaijan Micro-finance Association (AMFA) on April 12, 2019, the NBCO Finex Kredit was named The Best Organization for the Innovative Product of the Year," he added.

Finex Kredit has been operating since 2013 and builds its activities on the basis of the principles of transparent partnership in accordance with modern international financial standards. Over the years, the organization is growing steadily, increasing profit every year. New branches are opened in Baku and in the regions. Presently, the organization has 11 points of sale with its head office in Baku.

The geography of the organization covers a large territory of the country. Considering the interests and needs of customers, from 2013 to 2020, regional branches were opened in Baku (three offices), Ganja (two offices), Zagatala, Gabala, Sumgayit, and Khirdalan cities.

The strategic goal of Finex Kredit NBCO is to become a leading credit organization in Azerbaijan and a leader in the financial services market in its sector. The NBCO’s main priority is to maintain long-term partnerships with customers, constantly increase their number and improve the quality of our services, and, ultimately, build transparent and healthy business relationships.
