Citizens of Georgia paid income taxes of 779.5 million lari ($226.4 million) in 1Q2021, which is 98 percent of the budget plan, Trend reports via Georgian government administration.
In 2021, the Government of Georgia aims to collect 3.3 billion lari ($958.7 million) from taxes in total.
In 1Q2021, the budget received 306.7 million lari ($89.1 million) from excise taxes, 976.4 million lari ($283.6 million) was received from VAT, whereas revenues received from profit tax made up 430 million lari ($124.9 million).
In total, 2.66 billion lari ($772.7 million) has been collected in the budget from taxes, which is 100.3 percent of the plan for 1Q2021.
The 2021 budget is planned with a 4.3 percent economic growth.
