BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 31. The number of transactions from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan amounted to 2,300 for a total amount of 1.2 billion tenge ($2.5 million) in July, Trend reports via the National Bank of Kazakhstan.
The share of Azerbaijan amounted to 1.1 percent of the total number of money transfers from Kazakhstan and 1.4 percent of the total amount of transfers.
The number of transactions decreased by 17.8 percent, and their amount - by 29.8 percent compared to June 2022.
The number of money transfers from Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan decreased by 23.3 percent, and their amount - by 35.5 percent compared to July the previous year.
A total of 206,500 transactions worth 86.7 billion tenge ($182.1 million) were made from Kazakhstan abroad in July 2022.
The number and volume of sent money transfers decreased by 22 percent and 17 percent compared to June 2022, respectively.
The number and volume of sent money transfers decreased by 11 percent and 6 percent compared to July the previous year, respectively.
