Azerbaijan, Baku, July 2 / Trend H. Valiyev /
Symantec is ready to offer preferential terms to the state bodies in Azerbaijan while purchasing the information security systems, MONT Azerbaijan's Symantec product manager Anar Sadikhbayov told Trend.

He said that depending on the cost of the project, the benefits could reach 50 percent.

"At present, rendering preferential terms has been practiced with a number of state bodies and education of the country," he said.

Regarding Symantec, the positions of the vendor are not strong enough in the CIS, including Azerbaijan, as opposed to European and U.S markets. The solutions of such vendors as "Kaspersky Lab" and Dr.Web mainly dominate in the CIS region. They are closely engaged in promoting their solutions on the market.

At present, the level of users of software solutions in Azerbaijan is not high enough.
