A new method of non-contact payments will be offered to Baku public transport passengers in spring, a source in the country’s financial market told Trend.
The source said that there will be new cards that will also support the interface of card readers installed in the buses of the capital and in the Baku Metro.
It will be possible to recharge the cards’ balance using an electronic account, as well as through payment terminals (MilliÖN, eManat, ExpressPay and Easypay).
Currently, non-cash payment is carried out exclusively through transport cards, which are used to pay fares in the Baku Metro and buses of BakuBus LLC.
