The ‘Face Detection’ project of users, using the state services of Azerbaijan, is based on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, the Electronic Government Development Center of Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the E-Gov Development Center, the ‘Face Detection’ is used to solve a number of possible problems during authorization on the websites of government agencies.
“The process of loading biometric data into ASAN Login is carried out within 20 seconds: the first 12 seconds in the frame should be the user's face, and in the next eight - the identification document. After that, the Face Detection system evaluates the similarity with the image in the document and sets a certain indicator. It is determined based on a comparison of the face image and the user's ID recorded during registration with the image contained in the identification document received from the state database,” the organization said.
Face Recognition is based on artificial intelligence software that helps determine if both images belong to the same person.
