Intel to Provide Azerbaijani Ministry of Education with 1,000 Laptops

Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend / Ultra company, who is the official representative of the Intel corporation in Azerbaijan, has reported that the corporation will provide the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan with 1,000 laptops free of charge within the framework of the memorandum signed between Intel and the Ministry.

Intel, which is a world leader in information technology, has 80,000 employees and annual revenue of $42bln. Some 86% of computers in the world and 98% in Azerbaijan are produced on the basis of Intel technology. During the last three years the corporation has allotted $6.2mln for the implementation of an education program in the CIS. Intel, with representative offices in over 180 countries, has included Azerbaijan onto the list of most intensively developing countries.
