BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 10. Uzbekistan’s Uzsuvtaminot JSC (the authority responsible for water supply and sewerage and rational use of drinking water) with the support of the Asian Development Bank, has opened a tender for construction and rehabilitation of sewerage networks and pumping stations in Chirchik city of Uzbekistan’s Tashkent region.
The tender documents are accepted until 16:00 (GMT+5) June 20, 2023.
To participate in the tender, a potential bidder must meet the following criteria:
- must have the minimum average annual construction turnover of $6.4 million calculated as total certified payments received for contracts in progress or completed, within the last 3 years;
- must have experience in the construction of sewerage networks with a total length of not less than 25 km (D 100-600mm) completed within the last 10 years;
- must have experience in the construction of at least two sewerage pump stations with the installation of submerged pumps minimum capacity of 400-600 m3/hour within the last ten years;
- must have participated as a contractor, JV partner, or subcontractor, in at least one contract that has been successfully or substantially completed within the last ten years.
To participate in a tender the potential bidder should pay a non-refundable fee of either $300 or an equivalent amount of Uzbek Soum using the exchange rate published by the Central Bank of Uzbekistan on the date of payment of a non-refundable fee to the employer’s bank account indicated below:
