The start of construction of new KAMAZ service centers in the regions of Turkmenistan will be an important stage of the work of Russia’s KAMAZ company in Turkmenistan, regional representative of KAMAZ Marat Garifullin told Trend.

Garifullin noted that the construction will provide high-quality support for KAMAZ trucks and will become a good support for the implementation of new joint tasks and projects.

"Within the framework of the eleventh meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian Commission on Economic Cooperation held in May 2019, the protocol of the meeting fixed the creation of branches of the KAMAZ training and service center (Ashgabat) in 4 regions of Turkmenistan (Balkan, Dashoguz, Mary, Lebap regions)," the message said.

The construction of 4 service centers in the regions of Turkmenistan will expand the coverage areas of the service of KAMAZ trucks and increase the level of satisfaction of Turkmen consumers.

"The allocation of land plots has been approved by the local authorities of Turkmenistan and meets the necessary requirements for the construction of KAMAZ centers. The construction work will be started after the approval of the project of service centers and all procedural issues," Garifullin stressed.

The construction and commissioning of service centers will allow: to create additional jobs in the regions of Turkmenistan; to provide highly professional maintenance of KAMAZ trucks; to use only original spare parts of KAMAZ when servicing and repairing equipment.

"Currently, two-way work is underway to develop technical specifications for trucks to meet the necessary needs and expectations of customers from our equipment. According to the results of the carried out work, the deadlines for the implementation of new joint projects will be set," Garifullin added.

The current global situation on the spread of COVID-19 has affected the current bilateral work, but despite the situation that has arisen, the implementation of the set plans has not been stopped and will be fully carried out.

"Taking into account the fulfillment of the obligations by the parties and the goals set for the future, we can only give the highest assessment to the cooperation between Turkmenistan and KAMAZ company. We highly appreciate the trust in us and thank you for the opportunity to supply trucks for the sectors of the national economy of Turkmenistan," Garifullin concluded.
