A member company of the Iran-Kuwait Chamber of Commerce has launched a shipping line from Iran`s Khorramshahr to Kuwait, transferring refrigerated containers, twice a week, said the head of the Iran-Kuwait Joint Chamber of Commerce, Trend reports citing ILNA.
"Iran's trade with Kuwait has decreased due to COVID-19," Hani Feisali, the head of the Iran-Kuwait Joint Chamber of Commerce said.
He also said that Kuwait stopped issuing visas to new Iranian traders.
"We've asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the embassy to resolve the issues related to issuing visas, but so far, nothing has been done," Feisali said.
Recently, Iran has launched a flight from Abadan to Kuwait, for shrimp exports.
