BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 13. The volume of cargo loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) increased by 51.3 percent, in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year (April 21 through May 21, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 86,700 tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 1,160 tons were loaded and 85,700 tons were unloaded.

About 1,160 tons of cargo were exported and 84,900 tons were imported through the Noshahr port in the 2nd month.

In addition, 761 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for transit.

So, 79,800 tons of essential products, 99 tons of construction and mining materials, 761 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, and about 6,220 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year.

In general, more than 12.6 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 2nd month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.47 million tons were loaded and 7.12 million tons were unloaded. This is an increase of 17.5 percent, compared to the same month last Iranian year.
