BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 21. The volume of cargo unloaded in the Noshahr port of the Mazandaran Province (northern Iran) increased by 56.9 percent in the 7th month of the current Iranian year (September 23 through October 22, 2022), compared to the same month last Iranian year, Trend reports via the statistics of Iranian Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO).

According to the statistics, about 77,900 tons of cargo were unloaded in this port over the reporting month. Of this, 1,420 tons were loaded and about 76,500 tons were unloaded.

Some 1,420 tons of cargo were exported and 75,600 tons were imported through the Noshahr port in the 7th month.

In addition, 788 tons of cargo were unloaded in the port for other purposes.

Within 7th month, 66,900 tons of essential products, 43 tons of equipment, vehicles and spare parts, 666 tons of chemicals, 7,060 tons of leather goods, clothing, fibers, paper, and wood materials, 4 tons of container products and 3,130 tons of crude oil and related products were loaded and unloaded in the Noshahr port.

In general, about 11.6 million tons of cargo were loaded and unloaded in Iranian ports in the 7th month of the current Iranian year. Of this, 5.66 million tons were loaded and 5.94 million tons were unloaded. This is a decrease of 6 percent compared to the same month last Iranian year.
