Kazakh government ordered to draft reserve officers for military service, Novosti-Kazakhstan reported on Thursday.

"The Government of Kazakhstan decided to draft reserve officers, fit for military service and who did not pass it for military service on the posts of officers for two years in 2012 in the order established by law," the document said.

The decree will come in force ten calendar days after the date of the first official publication.

According to the decree, some 179 officers will be drafted for military service in 2012, including 33 motorized troops officers, 3 chemical troops officers, 16 engineers, 5 officers of educational and juridical work, 5 lawyers, 3 missile and artillery officers, 5 lawyers for prosecutor's office, 99 officers for National Security Committee's Border service and 9 to Ministry of Emergency Situations.
