A cotton processing plant worth 900 million tenge (153.87 tenge = $1) was launched in the South Kazakhstan region, Kazinform reported.
The Uzyn-Ata Mukta plant was built within the state program "Business Road Map-2020".
700 million tenge loan have been allocated to the project for a period of 7 years at 14 percent annual rate. The state will subsidize 7 percent of the interest rate.
The plant's production is based on natural gas.
A number of contracts for cotton supply have already been signed with Russia, China and European countries. The center for business support will help to prepare documents for products export.
