Medical institutions of the Eastern Kazakhstan region will be equipped with modern equipment within a three-year comprehensive health development plan.
Head of the Eastern Kazakhstan region Danial Akhmetov announced about this at a meeting with deputies at the session of the regional maslikhat.
Akhmetov noted that the opening of Kazakhstan's first Center for Robotics in the Eastern Kazakhstan region is among the long-term plans. Moroevr it is planned to open the Nuclear Medicine Center in Semey.
"This will open new horizons for our doctors," noted Akhmetov. "It is necessary that their high qualification is applied in practice, and the Center for Transplantology should also be opened in the region."
Akhmetov further stressed that serious financing is envisaged for the development of healthcare, the press service of the Akim of the East Kazakhstan region reports.
