Baku, Azerbaijan, November 10. Active steps are being taken in Kyrgyzstan to create a favorable investment climate, said today Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Bakyt Torobaev at the Bishkek Investment Forum "BIF2022", Trend reports via Kyrgyz Media.
According to him, the government of Kyrgyzstan is currently taking measures to improve the investment climate and stimulate sustainable economic growth.
He underlined that in order to create favorable conditions for investment, a number of presidential decrees were adopted in Kyrgyzstan, including: “Protection of property and support for entrepreneurs and investors”, “On measures to improve the management system in the field of investments and increase the investment potential of Kyrgyzstan” etc.
Moreover, government projects to expand Kyrgyz entrepreneurs' access to financial resources are being implemented. In order to create favorable conditions for the development of the creative economy, the Concept for the Development of the Creative Economy in Kyrgyzstan for 2022–2026 was approved and the Law “On the Park of Creative Industries” was signed.
Earlier, Kyrgyzstan's National Statistical Committee reported that the foreign direct investment (FDI) in Kyrgyzstan almost doubled in the first half of 2022 over the same period in 2021 ($321.2 million) - up to $628 million.
